Our perspectives

The economic environment in which the GSC works is generally characterized by the globalized trade and the liberalized transport services advocated by the World Trade Organization (WTO).

Then in harmony with the 2003 National Indicative Program’s (NIP) recommendations and the so-called round-table meetings “Cotonou 1 and 2”, the Gabonese Shippers’ Council in Paris aims at :

  • Implementing the new transport policy (multimodal transport) defined by the General Management through its development strategic plan;
  • Working as a freight forwarder;
  • Supporting and representing the African fellow Councils (UASC) in the management of their maritime traffic due to leave our jurisdiction area;
  • Promoting the Gabonese President’s Emerging Policy in the world.
